Module codes of AED404 / AED416 Devices and the Corresponding AE Channel Numbers

Module Coding Rules:

1. The AED416 devices can be set with any module code from 1 to 8. All AED416 devices in a synchronized AE diagnostic system must have different module code.
2. The AED404 devices can be set with any module code from 1 to 32. All AED404 devices in a synchronized AE diagnostic system must have different module code.
3. The AE channel numbering system is based on module codes. In a synchronized multichannel AE diagnostic system formed from AED404 and/or AED416 devices, all AE channels must have different channel number.
4. All AED416 devices have 16 acoustic-emission channels. For any of these devices the starting AE channel number is: (Module_Code_AED416 – 1)*16 + 1.
5. All AED404 devices have 4 acoustic-emission channels. For any of these devices the starting AE channel number is: (Module_Code_AED404 – 1)*4 + 1.
